This is hands-on renovation work. You do not need to be a licensed contractor or expert. We are primarily looking for reliable people who can work alongside an experienced maintenance manager, follow directions, and get work done.
Work may include:
* Demolition and removal of old materials
* Moving and carrying building materials
* Painting and prep work
* Flooring and trim
* Basic carpentry
* Installing cabinets and fixtures
* Job-site cleanup and organization
* General assistance with apartment renovations
What we’re looking for:
* Dependable and on time
* Comfortable with physical work
* Able to safely use basic hand and power tools
* Reliable transportation to St. Johnsbury
* Able to follow directions and work independently when needed
* Construction, maintenance, carpentry, flooring, or painting experience is a plus
Schedule: Approximately 15–25 hours per week. Some flexibility in scheduling.
Pay: $20–$25/hour, depending on experience and capabilities.
This position is initially for a larger renovation project, but ongoing work may be available for the right person.
