Forming 80s Band Needs A Lead Guitar Player To Bring It All Together

We are a four piece 80s/New Wave band that is the formation phase. Right now we have lead vocals (some keys), a great keyboard and rhythm guitar player who also sings, a solid bass player, and a skilled drummer with solid vocals as well. We also have a lot of high quality PA equipment and some lighting. What we need to bring it all together is a kick ass lead guitar player. Current planned setlist includes ABC, Billy Idol, Devo, Tommy TuTone (867 5309 Jenny), INXS, Soft Cell (Tainted Love), My Sharona, In a Big Country, The Cars, The Clash (London Calling, Rock the Casbah), U2, The Fixx (One Thing Leads to Another, etc.), Frankie Goes To Hollywood (Relax, Welcome to the Pleasure Dome), Duran Duran/Arcadia, Kajagoogoo (Too Shy), etc, etc. We are also considering some 80s hard rock like RATT, Bon Jovi, Van Halen and Crue to broaden the appeal. There were so many good songs from that era that we would easily be able to get to 40+. We also have a place to practice. (All of us live in the St. Johns/World Golf area, so we are in a good place to play either JAX or St. Augustine venues, and perhaps beyond.) Ideally, the guitarist will use a multi effects pedal like a Boss GT 1000, or a well stocked individual pedal board, and will be able to pull off those specific tones for these kinds of songs. If you can sing, great. If not, we have enough voices to pull this off credibly. Ideally, we would like to be out by March to April of 2027, playing out about 1 to 2x a month.
