We repair robotic massage chairs in customers' homes on behalf of the manufacturers. We are adding an independent field technician for the St. George area and are looking for someone who is comfortable with electronics and mechanical work.
This is 1099 contract work, a good fit for an appliance tech, electronics repair tech, or a handy person who already does field work and wants extra jobs on their own schedule.
The work:
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using a multimeter and basic circuit knowledge.
- Replace internal parts, circuit boards, and components on customer massage chairs.
- Provide excellent in-home customer service with clear communication.
Requirements:
- Comfortable with a multimeter and basic electrical troubleshooting.
- Background in appliance, electronics, TV, fitness equipment, or similar repair is a strong plus.
- Methodical diagnostic approach and attention to detail.
- Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and the ability to move a heavy chair with the customer's help.
- Self-directed and reliable: you schedule directly with the customer and show up when you say you will.
Pay, hours, and radius:
- Per-job pay starting at $120, plus mileage. Larger repairs pay more.
- Choose your radius and your hours - this fits around other work.
- We handle the manufacturer, the ticket, and the parts. You handle the repair.
- Independent contractor (1099).
