2024 high-side dump trailer with two seasons of work on it, built for debris and demo rather than just dirt. The tall sides are the point: you can fill it with roofing tear-off, framing scrap, or brush and still be under weight, which is where a low-profile trailer runs out of room long before it runs out of capacity.
Built by AMP — American Made Products, a Florida manufacturer — and sold new through Load Runner Trailers. At 4,400 pounds empty on a 14,000 lb GVWR frame with 10-gauge steel floor and walls, it's a heavy build, not a light-duty landscape trailer. Two years of depreciation is the entire reason this one is worth buying used instead of new.
What it actually holds
The box is 7 by 14 with 4-foot steel walls — about 14 cubic yards — riding on tandem 7,000 lb axles for a 14,000 lb GVWR and 9,600 lb of payload.
Those two numbers work together differently depending on what you're hauling, and it's worth being straight about it. On demo debris, roofing tear-off, framing scrap, or brush, you'll fill the box to the top and still be legal — that's what the tall walls are for. On dirt, gravel, or wet sand you'll hit 9,600 pounds at roughly a quarter to a third full. That isn't a limitation of this trailer specifically; it's true of every 14K dump trailer. Anyone advertising 14 yards of gravel capacity on one is selling you a ticket.
