A very pretty and eye catching 2005 C6 Corvette convertible:
130k Miles, Manual 6 speed Transmission, Runs Great
It's Lamborghini Green on the sides and black down the middle with a black convertible roof. It has a manual 6-speed and runs perfectly. The 2 front tires will need to be replaced before winter, but the 2 on the back are almost new. It has the very desirable tan interior. It's currently missing the passenger side view mirror glass, but I'll be ordering that and replacing it.
Now for the upgrades:
$800 - West Coast Corvette Stage 2 Anti-sway Bars: Upgrade to 1.4" front and 1" rear with the adjustable end links. - Dramatically improves cornering potential, chassis balance and steering response. Besides offering exceptional handling improvements for street driving, the WCC sway bars work extremely well in autocross, road courses, and open road racing applications.
$550 - Bilstein sport shocks upgrade on front and back - For the "Sport" minded driver these shocks are designed to push a car's suspension to its maximum performance. Shocks are 20% stiffer, and are compatible to use with special springs, anti-sway bars or any other suspension upgrades. Bilstein backs all shocks against defects in workmanship and material for as long as you own your car.
$750 - Corsa Carbon Fiber Cold Air Intake - Exclusive Power Channel Technology efficiently directs airflow from the filter to the throttle body, streamlines airflow eliminating any calibration concerns, and helps increase throttle response.
$950+$1000=$1,950 - Bear Eradispeed+ rear and front 2-piece brake rotors - possibly the best 2 piece brake rotors available to passenger cars today. They are in great shape, but eventually, when the rotors do wear out, you only have to replace the outer wear portion of the rotor, and you keep the aluminum centers.
$2,500 - PREMIUM STEALTH RADAR & LASER DEFENSE SYSTEM - The car features a professionally installed, top-of-the-line Escort 9500ci radar detector and front laser shifting (jamming) system. What makes this system incredibly unique is that it is seamlessly integrated directly into the Corvette's factory windshield Heads-Up Display (HUD) using a rare, highly sought-after DashTronix module. There are no messy wires, mounts, or screens cluttering the dashboard—everything looks 100% factory.
* Note for Modern Driving: The system has been configured to monitor "Ka-Band and Laser Only." This completely filters out the annoying false alarms caused by blind-spot monitors on newer modern cars, while remaining fully active and highly accurate against highway state trooper radar and laser guns.
* 100% Reversible: If you prefer not to use it, the system can be completely deactivated in 2 seconds simply by unplugging the integration module from the OBD-II port under the steering column. No factory wires were cut during installation.
I was hesitant to buy a convertible, I was concerned that it wouldn't come close to handling as well as my 2000 FRC Corvette, but this one was close enough that I couldn't tell the difference, and the brakes were actually better.
The title is clean and I have it in hand. I've priced this very fairly, at my wife's insistence. We're moving soon, and she said I could only bring one of my hotrods with us. I chose my 78 Camaro resto-mod, so my wife thinks the Corvette needs to go. I'd rather not sell it, but my wife's demand is your lucky day.
