Tile, LVP & Remodeling Help
$16.00 – $20.00 per hour (Starting pay depending on experience)
Job Type: Full-time
Location: St. Johns County (Must have reliable transportation to jobsites)
About the Position:
We are a busy, family-oriented custom flooring and residential remodeling team known for high-quality workmanship. Our projects range from large-scale full-house tile installations and custom showers to full-house Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP) flooring and light remodeling work. We are looking for a reliable, hard-working person to join our crew.
Whether you are looking to get your foot in the door of a great trade or already have some residential construction experience, we want to hear from you. We treat our team with respect, work hard, and take pride in leaving our jobsites immaculate.
What You’ll Do:
• Set up jobsites, mix thinset/grout, and keep materials organized.
• Assist with large-scale surface prep, floor leveling, demolition, and material handling (must be able to lift 50+ lbs comfortably).
• Operate tools safely (wet saws, grinders, miter saws, mixers, and specialized dustless equipment).
• Take charge of site cleanup and maintenance, including the proper use and care of cleaning tools (HEPA shop vacs, brooms, scrapers, tile sponges, and microfiber wash systems).
• Assist in the installation of tiles, LVP, trim/baseboards, painting, and basic remodeling tasks.
• Maintain a pristine, safe, and professional work area from start to finish.
What We’re Looking For:
• Reliability: You show up on time, every day, ready to work. No drama.
• Transportation: Must have a valid driver’s license and your own reliable vehicle to get to jobsites.
• Attitude: Willingness to learn, take direction, and keep up with a fast-paced environment.
• No Tools Required: We provide all the specialized tools and safety equipment needed for the job. You just need to bring a strong work ethic.
• Experience: Previous construction, tile, LVP, or remodeling experience is a major plus, but we are willing to train the right person.
Pay & Probationary Period:
Starting Pay: $16.00 to $20.00 per hour, based on your current skill level.
• Probationary Period: Your first 30 days will serve as a probationary period to evaluate your reliability, work ethic, and compatibility with the team. Upon successful completion, pay rates are re-evaluated based on performance and demonstrated skills.
• Perks: Steady local work, weekly pay, and direct on-the-job training from an experienced craftsman.
