Part-Time Position
Molasses Junction General Store is looking for a dependable, hardworking, and friendly part-time team member to join our team!
This position is a cross-trained role, with scheduled shifts working in either:
š³ Breakfast & Lunch Counter / Short-Order Cook
or
š Convenience Store / Cashier
Your schedule may include shifts in either area depending on the needs of the store.
Kitchen / Short-Order Cook Duties May Include:
Taking customer orders and providing friendly service
Preparing breakfast and lunch items
Preparing deli and grilled sandwiches
Preparing fried food and daily specials
Food preparation and stocking
Keeping the kitchen, counter, and dining areas clean and organized
Following food safety and cleanliness procedures
Working efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Convenience Store / Cashier Duties May Include:
Greeting customers and providing friendly service
Operating the cash register and handling customer transactions
Assisting customers throughout the store
Stocking shelves and coolers
Keeping the store clean, organized, and well stocked
Checking and organizing merchandise
Helping maintain a clean and welcoming environment
Assisting wherever needed during busy periods

Willing to learn both kitchen and cashier duties

Previous kitchen, restaurant, cashier, or retail experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person.
