George Howe Company is continuing to expand its independent distributor network, and we are looking for an experienced DSD professional to develop and grow our St. Augustine, Florida market.
Howe Candy currently services more than 1,500 retail locations across 33 states ā and we're continuing to expand. Our products are authorized with Walmart, and we're looking for the right independent distributor to help us build our presence in this market.
This is not a delivery-driver position. We're looking for an independent business operator who understands DSD, knows how to build relationships at store level, executes consistently, and sees the opportunity in developing a territory as it grows.
š¬ The Opportunity
ā¢ Build and develop a Howe Candy DSD territory in the St. Augustine market
ā¢ Opportunity to establish and grow distribution within the territory
ā¢ Weekly commission payments via direct deposit
ā¢ Independence to manage and operate your own DSD business
ā¢ Established products with Walmart authorization
ā¢ Support from Howe's sales and operations teams
ā¢ Join a growing independent distributor network currently operating across 33 states
Please note: This is a developing territory. Store count, authorization, and sales volume may vary as the market is built. Specific territory details and currently authorized locations will be reviewed with qualified candidates.
ā What We're Looking For
Prior DSD experience is required. Experience as an independent distributor, route owner, or company DSD representative is preferred.
Successful partners are comfortable with:
ā¢ Managing inventory, ordering, rotation, and merchandising
ā¢ Building productive relationships with store management and associates
ā¢ Maintaining strong in-stock levels and product presentation
ā¢ Identifying opportunities to expand assortment and grow sales
ā¢ Managing their own schedule and day-to-day business operations
š What You'll Need
ā¢ A dependable cargo van or box truck appropriate for servicing the territory
ā¢ A warehouse or storage location capable of receiving tractor-trailer deliveries
ā¢ The ability to manage inventory and maintain appropriate product levels
ā¢ Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
ā¢ An entrepreneurial mindset and commitment to developing the market
