Key Responsibilities
Customer Engagement: Greet customers, build friendly relationships, and guide them through our buying, selling, and trading processes.
Device Testing & Inspection: Learn to quickly test incoming electronics (smartphones, tablets, laptops, and game systems) to verify functionality, erase data, and check condition.
Pricing & Negotiation: Use our store software and tools to look up market values, make fair on-the-spot trade or cash offers, and confidently explain those offers to customers.
Sales & Upselling: Position yourself as a helpful expert, guiding customers to the right pre-owned devices and accessories while explaining our warranty benefits.
Inventory Management: Create accurate trade-in records by entering device details into our POS (Point of Sale) system.
Qualifications & Requirements
Tech Enthusiast: A lifelong love of consumer electronics and a strong basic knowledge of smartphones, gaming systems, Windows, and MacOS.
People Person: Naturally confident, outgoing, and able to adapt to different customer personalities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong Typing Skills: Ability to type quickly and accurately (60+ WPM preferred) while chatting with a customer, as accuracy in data entry is critical.
Fast Learner: Ready to follow store protocols, adapt to changing tech trends, and participate in ongoing training.
Physical Demands: Ability to remain on your feet for up to 8+ hours and comfortably lift up to 12 kg (approx. 26 lbs) items.
Preferred (But Not Required)
Previous experience in retail, customer service, or sales.
Experience buying or selling items on platforms like eBay, Facebook Marketplace, or Mercari.
Basic familiarity with data-wiping phones or removing iCloud/Google accounts.
