Excellent drummer needed for established Tom Petty Tribute Band. Our current drummer will be playing with us through December and may be just a sub after that? We have gigs and are looking for someone with good feel and chops who has experience in tribute or show bands. Oh, and you will need to love Tom Petty's music. We are serious about recreating the look and sound of a Heartbreakers show and we are good at it. Presentation is important since at some of our gigs, people are paying significant amounts to see us. We do this for the love of the music first, money second.

We typically play one to three gigs a month on average. We will probably only practice once a month if needed, after you are up and running with us. We use in-ear monitors. If you don't like them, or have not used them, this is not the band for you. You must have prior experience with in ear monitors. We have fun and all get along great. We are looking for someone who can fit in and have fun with us. Initially, we played City Concert series, breweries and wineries, but we have some theaters and bigger venues lined up for next year with more to come.

Please send links to video of you and a statement of why you are interested in this opportunity. If I don't respond right away, it may be that I'm busy or that I don't think you are a good fit. If I don't think you are a good fit, I'm not making a judgement about you or your playing. Thanks for your consideration!
