Position Summary
Our trucking company is seeking a reliable, customer-oriented Class C Driver to perform residential home deliveries using a 26-ft. delivery truck. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, physically capable, dependable, and takes pride in providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate a 26-ft. delivery truck.
Load, unload, and deliver merchandise to residential customers.
Perform home deliveries, including moving items into designated delivery locations when required.
Provide courteous and professional customer service.
Verify delivery paperwork and obtain customer signatures.
Complete daily vehicle inspections and maintain a clean, safe truck.
Communicate delivery updates, delays, and issues to dispatch.
Follow all company safety procedures and delivery requirements.
Qualifications
Valid California Class C driver's license with a clean driving record.
Previous delivery or driving experience preferred.
Ability to operate a 26-ft. box truck.
Ability to lift, carry, and move freight, including heavy or bulky items.
Ability to use a smartphone or delivery application.
Reliable, punctual, organized, and customer-service oriented.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of merchandise.
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. independently, with team assistance for heavier items.
Ability to climb in and out of the truck and safely navigate stairs and residential properties.
