Are you detail-oriented with steady hands and excellent hand-eye coordination? We're seeking a detailed Orientated Assembly technician to join a growing high-tech manufacturing team in Saco, ME.
This is a great opportunity for candidates with experience in small parts assembly, electronics assembly, microscope work, quality inspection, jewelry making, or other precision-focused roles.
Responsibilities
Assemble small optical and mechanical components using detailed instructions
Work under a microscope performing precision assembly tasks
Use measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers
Inspect and test assembled products
Maintain accurate production records
Follow cleanroom and quality procedures
Troubleshoot minor assembly issues
Support production and continuous improvement efforts
Qualifications
Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
Ability to work with very small parts
Excellent attention to detail
Comfortable working in a clean manufacturing environment
Previous assembly, manufacturing, or inspection experience preferred
Willingness to learn specialized optical assembly techniques
