Here is a Royal Worcester porcelain dinner plate (10.5 inch or 26.6 cm), manufactured in 1929 or 1930 in the sought after Riviera pattern design number Z13/2.

The decoration of the Riviera pattern uses transfer printed outlines with hand painted detail of a classical design featuring Arabian type oil lamps, Grecian urns, peaches, plums, cherries and flowers. A variety of different paints & glazes are used in this design, some much thicker than others. The flames from the oil lamps, the red centers of the blue flowers and the cherries stand out proud of the surface giving it a depth that you might not expect. This plate is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or restoration although there are a few minor cutlery marks. Pieces of this quality in such fine condition are now extremely hard to find and it will make a fine addition to your service. Please see pictures for condition.
