Looking for a plumber for a small job in Roxbury, CT 06783, this week, one visit. Old house on a well, copper and PEX. I have fixed the burst lines myself and the water is on; this is the finishing work.
1. Bathtub drain: old brass waste-and-overflow and P-trap are corroded and weeping. Ceiling below is open, all reachable from underneath. Replace in PVC (1 1/2 inch waste-and-overflow kit, PVC trap, glued, Fernco to the existing line). Bathroom sink trap on the same run, same treatment.
2. Kitchen faucet: supply fitting rusted off, faucet disconnected. I have the new faucet; fit and connect it.
3. One other faucet with a small drip at the fitting.
4. Gas water heater went out while the house was empty; it needs relighting.
5. Basement, 3/4 inch line just above the main shut-off, house side: one cut, tee with a garden-hose bib (plain, no vacuum breaker) and a new lever ball valve above it, for drain-down and blow-out before winter. SharkBite or PEX, no soldering.
