A beautiful, first-year production run 2009 Epiphone Emperor Swingster in a stunning, translucent Wine Red finish (Serial: 0910230941). This full hollowbody archtop is a total tone monster. While it shares the iconic, elegant body silhouette of the legendary Joe Pass Emperor II, the Swingster is custom-tweaked from the factory for incredible genre versatility—excelling at everything from traditional jazz and smoky blues to rockabilly, country, and psychobilly. Premium Factory Features: The Electronics (Push/Pull Series/Parallel): Loaded with two custom-voiced Epiphone SwingBucker humbuckers with Alnico V magnets. Both the neck and bridge volume knobs feature independent push/pull switches. This lets you toggle the pickups between series and parallel wiring on the fly, moving seamlessly from fat, woody humbucker warmth to crystal-clear, snappy single-coil chime with zero added hum. The Hardware: Features a licensed Bigsby B30 vibrato tailpiece paired with an upgraded contoured handle, expressive pitch bending. To ensure perfect tuning and stability when using the vibrato, it features a pinned Tune-O-Matic bridge resting on a wooden base that will not slide around while playing. Aesthetics & Build: Built with a rigid 5-ply layered maple body, a comfortable SlimTaper profile neck, and a bound fingerboard with beautiful pearloid block inlays. The headstock features the classic, oversized clipped dove-wing design with a gorgeous Mother-of-Pearl "Tree of Life" inlay. Condition & Playability: Action & Neck: The straight mahogany neck features a very fast, comfortable profile. The action is set low, clean, and fast across all frets with zero dead notes or buzzing.
