Beautiful antique walnut bed frame with a spinning blanket roller at the footboard. I believe it was originally built as a rope bed and has now been converted for a modern standard box spring and mattress, so it’s ready to use while still keeping its authentic character. The blanket roll / roller was designed to keep covers neatly in place, and this one still spins smoothly, which is a great original feature.
This is a truly special piece with real craftsmanship you don’t see anymore and would make a perfect statement bed for a bedroom, guest room, farmhouse, rustic, or vintage-style home. full-size bed.
