so Im 70 years old now, and i am thinking of going back to college. My first attempt didn't go well. I am still freshman at Chico State. But I have 50 years of sobriety so thats good. I tend to not eat animals or wear leather, so that's good. My last car got stolen in San Jose, so I have saved a lot of money on gas, so that's good. I feel like I'm actually getting younger everyday, so explain that. Just a bicycle and me, n pets, somewhere close to the college in Arcata. That will do it. Hella cheap rent because the last time we paid 170 for a whole three bedroom house! ok, 200 or 250 for a room, but no one will be sending me money from home.. Ok, if it is a garage or studio or storage or a room with hella cool bomb ass roommates, I could go higher.. Not 420 higher, just a little more money would be ok. I'm thinking, well if I get a nerd certificate, then maybe I could get elected for president or something, where I could solve all the worlds problems, which i know i could do- oh I got side tracked...
The DR in Sohum has me on drugs, not REAL DRUGS like we had before, but some kind of other drug, so hopefully moving to Arcata will allow me a broader socialization schedule and I will meet a real healer, one who doesn't believe chemical therapies. Like a naturopathic healer, chinese medicine, massage therapist, ect.. The spectrum can be broad. So oh yeah. a room..I don't Give a FF what your gender is, hopefully you don't like the smell of bacon in the house and hopefully dead chicken or cow is out as well.. Maybe we could share a salad together sometime. Toast? And there you go... Otherwise I hear there is a great forest and a homeless camp for days behind the College. I did sleep a night there once. The year was 1977 and I was walking barefoot in a white robe. I learned being barefoot you can find the dry areas in the forest and sleep there, even when it is raining.. Like it might have been that night..That was a journey that took me all the way to Coopeville Washington, where I got arrested for taking a blanket from a donation box. It wasn't quite Ramboish, but I did cop and attitude. Oh were was I? Oh yeah, roommate ad. Well if anything rings a bell, really just a cabover camper would be fine. I can join a gym to shower and that's that. I am hoping to be a published writer and I am thinking of a title. Care to guess? Oh you will never get it right. "memoirs of a crack house carpenter". It includes continuous gunfire with no police response, attending funerals for children, living saints who speak spanish and give their money away on payday, mexican waitresses who sing and dance their way across the spot to your table, going to work and coming home with a new daughter, parenting homeless 14 yo mothers and meeting yuppies who can't do math. 20.00 dollars an hour times 200 hours is how much? I owe you? That can't be right.. I'm a great and powerful yuppie with a nerd certificate and OMG. Im going to need a drink. oh yes, a room please.
