We are a growing residential construction and remodeling company looking for an experienced, dependable person to join our crew in a working quality control role.
This is NOT a position where you stand around and supervise all day. You will be working alongside the crew while also helping us make sure every job is being completed correctly, cleanly, and to our company’s standards.
We already have a foreman. We are looking for another experienced set of eyes on the jobsite someone who takes pride in their work, notices the details, communicates well, and isn’t afraid to correct an issue before it becomes a problem.
What you’ll be doing:
Work hands-on with the crew on residential remodeling/construction projects
Check workmanship and overall quality throughout each stage of the job
Catch problems, incomplete work, or poor workmanship before the job moves forward
Take clear progress photos and send regular jobsite updates to the owner
Verify work matches the scope of work and customer expectations
Help keep jobs organized, clean, and moving efficiently
Communicate with the foreman and owner about progress, materials, issues, or changes
Help make sure punch-list items are completed properly before a job is considered finished
Lead by example and help maintain a professional jobsite around homeowners
We’re looking for someone who:
Has solid residential construction/remodeling experience
Understands what GOOD finished work is supposed to look like
Can work independently without needing constant direction
Pays attention to details and catches things other people miss
Is comfortable taking photos and communicating updates from the jobsite
Shows up consistently and on time
Takes ownership of their work
Can work well with a crew without creating unnecessary drama
Has reliable transportation
Has their own basic hand tools
Experience with multiple trades is a big plus, including carpentry, decks, flooring, tile, drywall, painting, trim/finish work, kitchens, bathrooms, and general remodeling.
Pay: Competitive and based on experience.
Schedule: M-F 8:30am-3pm <--give or take
