Veteran-owned Rockport shop hiring an electrical helper to pull wire and assist our electrician.
This is a learn-on-the-job helper/apprentice seat — not a licensed journeyman role. You work with our electrical crew. Not a solo sub running jobs.
What you’ll do:
• Pull wire and assist on residential/commercial electrical work under direction
• Stage material, clean up, and keep the electrician moving
• Follow safety instructions every time — no unsupervised electrical work
• Learn as you go; trade license NOT required
• Show up on time ready for outdoor / attic / crawlspace work
Must-haves:
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable transportation to Rockport-area sites (Rockport, Port Aransas, North Padre, Corpus Christi, Aransas Pass)
• Want to learn the trade and take direction
• Comfortable with physical field work
• Apprentice OK
• Own truck and tools is fine
Nice-to-haves:
• Any electrical, construction, or hands-on mechanical exposure
Honest fit: You’ll be a helper first. Early mornings (crew out by 8:30), physical days, attics and heat. If you need a journeyman title on day one, this isn’t it.
