RARE Charles EAMES Herman MILLER Mid-century ROSEWOOD and chrome DCM** chair
Beautiful iconic MCM chair in good condition, especially considering its age (50-70 years). Comfortable to sit on (supports the back; forms to your body), sturdy, and gorgeous to look at. Clearly marked on back: “Designed by Charles Eames Herman Miller Zeeland Mich.”
According to eames.com: “In the later 50's the Rosewood versions were released and these command a high desirability value as they were moderately rare and far more expensive at the time.”
**DCM stands for: Dining Height (D) Side Chair (C) on Metal (M) Rod Base. (There were also shorter, LCM (lounge) chairs produced.)
Measurements:
Height of chair: ~30”
