I have a steer calf out of a Texas longhorn cow bred to a shorthorn bull. He was born Easter Sunday and is still on cow, but eating plenty of hay. Guessing he weighs 250-300. Would make a good roping steer (he is growing horns) or a good animal to raise and finish for freezer beef. Has always been healthy and vigorous.
