Seeking Interview Participants: Food Access and Type 2 Diabetes in Mon

Hi! My name is Shayna Caves, and I am a graduate public health student at SUNY Brockport. For a class research project, I am looking to interview adults about how difficulties getting or affording enough food affect their ability to manage type 2 diabetes.
You may participate if you:
• Are 18 years of age or older
• Live in Monroe County, New York
• Have type 2 diabetes
• Have experienced difficulty getting enough food or affording the food you need
Participation involves one individual Zoom interview lasting no more than 30 minutes. You will be asked open ended questions about food access and managing diabetes.
Participation is voluntary. You may skip any question or stop at any time. Recording is optional, and your camera can remain off. Your name and identifying information will not be included in the final report.
There is no payment for participating, and you may not benefit directly. Your experiences may help identify challenges and support needs related to food access and diabetes management.
If you are interested or have questions, please reply through Craigslist. You do not need to include personal health details in your initial message.
