Loki is a home bred gentle giant who has had an easy start. This big guy is smart and loves having a job. He is aware of his size and tries to be cognizant of his rider. This horse has been easy to saddle break and hasn’t offered any funny business.
He is started and will go through all the gaits, he is low headed and is learning how to use his hind quarters for turnarounds, roll backs and the basic back up. He is getting more consistent with breaking at the poll to offer softness in the face and ribs. We’ve ridden him out on the road with traffic, taken him to various arenas and have moved cows with him. He takes it all in stride - he’s not spooky and enjoys going out. He trailers and hauls well. He is easy to catch out in pasture and keeps well in a stall and runout. He’s very trusting of humans as he’s been imprinted since birth by us.
Really can’t say enough good things about where this horse is at and where his future could go.
He does have a superficial scar on his back hind leg. Been cleared by a vet as superficial.
