Antique, WORKING & Passed down within Virginia-NC family since 1800s.
Seth Thomas OGEE Clock for Mantel or Shelf mid to later 1800s. Includes winding key, weights and pendulum.
All brass gear workings.
Original parts/condition to our knowledge except the original mirror was replaced in the 1990s with clear (also vintage old) glass.
There are also a couple spots with some veneer chipped.

Based on some quick online research and label "Thomaston Conn", this clock could have been made some time after 1865, but likely after 1875 when the factory town was renamed Thomaston.
100% works and keeps good time and chimes, easy to set and adjust.
Antique 30 hour wind up clock.
Local pickup in south Roanoke/Cave Spring VA area
