Have your CDL-B with tanker endorsement? Run your own vacuum truck and lead a crew on water and sewer jobs for towns and businesses.
What you'll do:
- Operate and maintain a vacuum (Vactor) truck
- Load and unload waste materials safely and efficiently
- Act as foreman and direct the crew on site
- Keep daily logs, time cards, trip reports, and vehicle inspection reports
- Follow company safety procedures and DOT and HAZMAT rules
- Work overtime for emergency jobs when needed

Who we're looking for:
- Class B CDL with tanker endorsement (required)
- Clean driving record
- Able to handle physical, labor-intensive work
- Able to pass a drug test and background check
Physical requirements (this is demanding, hands-on work):
- Regularly lift and carry 50-75 lbs
- Work in confined spaces, wet vaults, and pump stations, including climbing ladders
- Comfortable with sewage, dirty work, and unpleasant smells
- Bend, kneel, crawl, and stand for long periods
- Work outdoors in heat, cold, rain, and snow, with long days when emergencies come up
- Wear required safety gear (respirator, harness, PPE)
- Pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen (DOT physical for CDL drivers)
- MMC may require employees to be clean-shaven at any time for respirator fit and safety (religious and medical accommodations considered)
- Company vehicles are tracked with Samsara GPS and dash cameras
