Picture1 : Newton aka Newt. Newt came to us 18 months ago as a subadult. Now he is a very mellow, confident friendly cat and our favorite.
Picture 2: Mike and Spike. They showed up about 6 months ago as subadults with their runt brother Ike (not shown, but he looks like his bros). Mike is the one with black forelegs. He is very affectionate with people . Mike and Newt, would probably make good housecats.
Spike and Ike are shyer but we are coming along with their socialization. Ike is the only cat not neuterd so far, but that's easy to fix.
Picture 3: Blackie moved in with her sister Nora 3 years ago. Blackie is tough as nails, rules the whole tribe and tolerates people as long as she's fed. Blackie and Nora (who's still feral) are good mousers but need to stay in your barn.
To make sure these cats go to serious good homes, we will ask for a check donation to either the Johnson County Animal Shelter or the Iowa Humane Alliance (who did all the neuter/spay operations) of $50/cat.
