Frazer rototiller, Model B 1 6,
$900 -1900.00.This machine is ideal for the organic grower, small produce gardener, open ground re occurrence tilling. Greenhouse production or just a vintage equipment collector. It is one supurb example of engineering era gone.
Please note I am listing the tiller a few weeks earlier than it will be available due to travels. It will be available to view towards the end of May.
This machine was produced in the 40s by Frazer rototiller co. An off shoot of the Graham Paige motor company. It is powered by a 5hp 2 stroke engine that was manufactured by Bell aircraft. Magneto fired, It is all gear drive with a two speed transmission. The tillers handles and controls are adjustable articulate to left or right to allow walk along side one handed operation. Yes I said one hand. The till width is 32 inches.
This machine has been machine shop rebored and fitted with new rings and piston. Crank is tight. Seals replaced on tiller shaft, wheel axles. Case sealed. Carburetor is a Tilston updraft original. New control cables. As a two stroke engine it is recommended to use Aero shell oil, although I have run good 2 stroke mineral oil mixes.
The tiller tines are spring with inter changeable tines.

I have owned this tiller for 50 years along with other machines used in business. It is by far the best, longest lasing, easiest maintained machine I owned.
When I acquired it It was used, after a few year of use, I sent the whole unit back to the Frazer factory for renewing, At that time Frazer was renewing as well as still assembling machines from parts inventory and listing them in the $ 3- 4,000 range. . It has lasted another 50 years and should be good now for another 50.
I have the original parts catalogs and service manual as well.
I will consider selling rototiller seperate from the parts but not vice versa
