My steers are Angus/Shorthorn mix. They are purchased without vaccines and I start them on a custom organic grain mix, organically grown grass/alfalfa hay mix and a beautiful grass pasture without chemical fertilizers. I keep them on the grains twice per day throughout the summer, increasing the daily amounts significantly the last three months, along with the pasture grass. They are currently eating 3 pounds per hundred weight of grain per day. The flavor and cleanliness of this beef will be right up there with the best you've ever eaten. They are scheduled to be ready for processing on October 31st according to their feed schedule. I plan to sell two of my six on the hoof. I will include delivery within 100 miles of Ridgway to your property or the processor. You may come to my little Ranch and choose which of the six you want. These steers should reach 950-1000 pounds hanging weight yielding up to 500 pounds or more of finished cuts. A tremendous value for this quality of beef.
