This tunable frame drum is crafted by hand from a single piece of mahogany and a sheepskin drumhead. Highly resonant, perfect for sound healing, drum meditations, and hand playing middle eastern style.

It has a woven hand hold in the back as well as a notch in the frame to allow hand held playing in the standing position. The wood is treated with natural beeswax and copal oil polish.

Changing weather conditions like humidity and coolness can cause a regular drum-skin to lose its tightness. This drum is tunable by air- just use a bike pump to tighten the drum skin and reach your desired tone. For the stage, open air gatherings, night time playing, drum circles, it is very easy to tune.
