I offer one-on-one film script development sessions for writers at any stage of the process—from a first idea or rough outline to a completed screenplay that needs another set of eyes.
My name is Daniella, and i’m a filmmaker and screenwriter who has written and directed multiple short films and recently completed an original feature screenplay that has been pitched to multiple Hollywood production companies. I have a masters degree in filmmaking as well, giving me a great understanding of a films narrative structure. Through my own filmmaking experience, I’ve developed a strong understanding of story structure, character development, dialogue, tone, visual storytelling, and what makes a screenplay compelling on the page.
Sessions can be tailored to your project and may include:
Developing an initial story idea into a strong concept
Logline, synopsis, and character development
Story structure and pacing
Scene-by-scene script development
Character arcs and dialogue
Identifying weaknesses and opportunities in a draft
Reworking or restructuring an existing screenplay
Feature and short film development
Preparing your script and pitch materials for producers, festivals, or industry meetings
My goal isn't to rewrite your story for you, but to help you discover the strongest version of the story you're trying to tell and give you practical, constructive feedback throughout the process.
Sessions are available one-on-one via Zoom or in person in NYC.
Rates:
Short Film Development: $75/hour
Feature Screenplay Development: $150/hour
I also offer discounted multi-session packages for writers who want ongoing development support.
