I have a vintage NAPCO Security Systems, Inc. MARK5000 Automatic Telephone Dialer for sale. It is in good condition but is untested. This particular unit was manufactured during the late 70's to early 80's.

NAPCO was originally based in Copaigue, NY but is now in Amityville, NY and is now known as NAPCO Security Technologies, Inc.

This unit was given to me for the asking when I was doing plumbing work in a home renovation in Laurel Hollow, NY about 10 years ago. It still has the original "8-Track" style cassette tape that played a prerecorded message after dialing the phone once an alarm was triggered. These tapes were custom made with special equipment and can not be changed without it.

Along with the 120VAC to 12VAC wall transformer that powered the unit, it could use a 12VDC battery and charging unit for backup purposes in case of a power outage. You can still find the installation and operation manual online available as a downloadable PDF file.

The unit measures 10" wide by 9" tall by 6.5" deep.

If there are any collectors out there of vintage security system equipment, this would make a perfect addition to your collection. It would even be great for the person who enjoys tinkering around with older electronics equipment.
