# Part-Time Cybersecurity Analyst Instructor
**Location:** Houston, TX
**Duration:** 12-week cycles (260 hours per cohort)

## About the Program
The **Cybersecurity Analyst Training Program** is a 12-week, hands-on program designed to prepare students for careers in cybersecurity. Training combines classroom instruction with practical labs and prepares students for **CompTIA CySA+ and Security+ certifications**.
## Position Overview
We are seeking an **experienced Cybersecurity Instructor** to teach adult learners in an **on-site classroom environment in Houston, TX**. The instructor will lead hands-on labs, provide technical instruction, and help students prepare for CompTIA certification exams.
## Key Responsibilities
* Deliver hands-on labs covering **CompTIA CySA+ and Security+** objectives.
* Teach cybersecurity, networking, threat detection, and troubleshooting concepts.
* Provide certification exam preparation and student mentorship.
* Assess students through quizzes, labs, and practical exercises.
* Collaborate with program staff to maintain relevant, industry-aligned training.
## Required Qualifications
* Current **CompTIA CySA+ and Security+ certifications** or equivalent experience.
* **2–5 years of professional IT or cybersecurity experience.**
* Teaching or technical training experience preferred.
* Strong hands-on cybersecurity and lab skills.
* Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
## Preferred Qualifications
* Additional CompTIA or cybersecurity certifications.
* Experience with **Wireshark, Nmap, Nessus, Kali Linux, Microsoft Sentinel**, or similar tools.
* Experience with virtual labs and adult or veteran learners.
* Background in education, defense, government, or law enforcement is a plus.
