Really neat Squier Mustang for sale!!! Recently purchased a Squier Sonic Mustang (the one with the toggle switch and hardtail bridge), and LOVED the sound and build quality.
I loved it so much that I had to ditch the toggle switch and make it a proper Mustang. I swapped the pickguard (which is a different size from the Sonic Mustang, so there is a slight gap along the neck and a minor mismatch on the control plate) and put in two standard Mustang switches. I selected white for some Mustang classiness, and upgraded the black pickup covers to white as well. Also, the bridge pickup was a little on the thin side from the box, so I installed a telecaster-style pickup plate. I installed to be able to be easily removed, so if you don't like the fuller bridge sound, easy to reverse. Finaly, the headstock logo was a boring, small, printed logo instead of the gnarly 60's style Mustang logo, so I swapped the waterslide as well.
The Sonic Mustangs play WAY better than a Squier should, and now it has the look and feel of a "Mustang" Mustang! Two notes: There are two very small dings in the finish, which I'll point out on delivery- they aren't noticeable, but I don't hide any flaws. Also, I do still have the original pickguard and switch if you prefer a more stock experience.
