This system retailed for over $3,000. Four VP38R satellites ($485 each) plus the BPS6 subwoofer ($1,100). All yours for $295.

This is not your average ceiling speaker setup. This is the Sonance Visual Performance Discreet Opening System — designed for people who want premium sound without seeing a single speaker.

Four VP38R satellite speakers, each about the size of a small recessed downlight. Paintable magnetic grilles that vanish into your ceiling. Guests will hear full, rich sound and have no idea where it's coming from.

The secret: a BPS6 bandpass subwoofer hidden inside the ceiling space, delivering real bass (40Hz–125Hz) through a discreet 4-inch opening. The satellites handle the mids and highs with ceramic dome tweeters and carbon fiber woofers. Together it's a complete full-range system with almost zero visual footprint.

This is the kind of system custom home theater installers spec for high-end builds. Four satellites + subwoofer, complete. They are in excellent condition, never driven hard. Used for a 20 minute demo once.

Cash only, local pickup in Glen Allen. Price is firm.

Price: $295
