There are 2-arms that lock the movable section in place. The movable section slides easily up and down to adjust the height. There is a small pulley on the top run for a rope to aid in extending the section. It comes with a 20’ piece of rope for this purpose.
This ladder sells new for $250.00 am asking $150.00 OBO
I also have a 16’ and a 14’ extension ladder and a 4-section foldable ladder for sale. Look for the ads if interested.
