This tribal oriental rug features a richly, detailed, design, characteristic of the SERAPI style. This rug was hand-knotted in Turkey, in the 1940's. It is a beautiful looking, medium-sized, rug that will make an impact, wherever you place it.
We selected this rug to stage one of our beautiful city lakes homes. (We take the rugs back after the staged house sells, and sell them for just a portion of their cost, so we can deduct that and charge less in the inital staging fee. This house has sold, and that is why it is available now.)
This SERAPI is a tribal designed, hand-knotted piece made of 100% wool, with about 120 knots per square inch, (120 KPSI), considered to be very good weave quality. The exact size is 6.7x3.3, and it is in excellent condition with no wear spots and an intact pile. This rug features three larger blue hexagons over the soft brick red field, and accent colors of ivory, tobacco brown, rose, and dark blue. It is a spectacular medium sized rug in great condition, that will enhance your home with its substantial richness. This rug was made using yarn that was colored using vegetable dyes (important because vegetable-dyed colors are richer in appearance: (deeper in color --- less flat looking), than chemical-dyed woolen yarns, as well as environmentally safer).
We selected this rug for staging, because of its visually impressive design. That is why it will be impressive anywhere you use it, including in an entryway, a bath room, an office, a kitchen, alongside a bed, or beside a larger area rug. At retail this rug would be priced about $1700-$1800; But, here it is JUST $575. We can accept Cash, or Venmo. Email me here, or use the cell phone above to contact me to view it. Thanks.
