Hello.
I provide respite care for individuals who care for others. I am not seeking full-time employment. Rather, I act as a relief caregiver for those who themselves seek someone to stand in as they take time for some self-care.
I have provided care to elders with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, teenagers whose caregivers needed a little time away, an incomplete quadriplegic, and folks in various stages of hospice care. Occasionally I have even been called upon to care for cats, dogs, chickens, plants, fish, and even donkeys. This summer I traveled to Canada with clients to help entertain their children. Depending on your needs, the length of stay can range from a day or two to several weeks.
I am an licensed and experienced CNA who also holds two masters degrees. I am a great companion who enjoys conversing on a wide variety of topics. I am kind, reliable, honest, compassionate, and level-headed as well as drug-, alcohol-, and drama-free. I am fully vaccinated, and will gladly provide stellar, local references.
