Sous Chef & Hospitality Operations Assistant
Summer & Winter Seasonal Positions

Lodge Scole is looking for reliable, experienced and motivated team members to join our team for the summer and winter seasons.
We are not simply looking for short-term seasonal workers. We hope to build a stable team with people who would love to return year after year and grow together with us.
We welcome applicants interested in working both summer and winter seasons, as well as those who can return regularly for either season.

1. SOUS CHEF
サブシェフ（キッチン運営スタッフ）
We are looking for an experienced cook who can work closely with our Head Chef and independently manage kitchen operations when the Head Chef is away.
Responsibilities
- Daily cooking and food preparation
- Kitchen operations and management
- Ingredient ordering and stock control
- Maintaining food quality and hygiene
- Coordinating with the Head Chef
- Managing kitchen operations in the Head Chef's absence
- Supporting and guiding other kitchen staff
Requirements
- Professional kitchen experience
- Ability to work independently and responsibly
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Western or European cuisine experience is a plus

2. HOSPITALITY OPERATIONS ASSISTANT
運営サポートスタッフ（サブマネージャー的ポジション）
We are looking for a responsible and proactive person who can support daily lodge operations and help coordinate the team.
Responsibilities
- Guest reception and check-in/check-out
- Reservation and guest inquiries
- Guest services and hospitality
- Supporting restaurant, café and bar operations
- Staff coordination and daily task management
- Supporting overall lodge operations
- Handling on-site situations and guest issues
- Supporting operations when the manager is absent
Requirements
- Experience in hotels, restaurants or hospitality preferred
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Responsible, flexible and proactive attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Employment: Seasonal part-time
- Location: Lodge Scole, Zao Onsen, Yamagata, Japan
- Working seasons: Summer and winter
- Salary: Negotiable depending on experience and skills
- Working hours: Shift-based

- Returning staff for future seasons are especially welcome.

Japanese language proficiency is REQUIRED.
Applicants must be able to communicate independently in Japanese for daily operations, staff coordination and guest services.
