Hello, my 19-year-old daughter and I are looking for a 1-2 bedroom apt or something similar to that for rent. We both have jobs in the medical field, and my daughter is enrolled at Shasta College as well. We have a medium-sized terrier mix named River, and she is mainly in the house. Also have an indoor cat named Yoshi. We are looking for a rental with 1 or 2 bedrooms and would like to move in around 10/18/26. We can afford up to $1200.00 per month. We were served with an unlawful detainer by our current landlord due to our rent being late from time to time. We have lived in our current residence for 10 years and just need something more affordable. We moved here with my parents back in 2016. I was there to help my father take care of my mother, who had advanced stages of dementia. My father passed away in 2022, and I was then my mother's sole caretaker. Then my mother passed away 6 months later. I thought that I had no choice but to take over the lease because my credit score was not the best. We are quiet people who do not drink or have visitors.
