LOOKING FOR A VACANT HOUSE — I’LL RENOVATE IT IN EXCHANGE FOR DISCOUNTED RENT
Are you a property owner with a vacant house that needs some work before it can be rented?
I may have a solution that could benefit both of us.
I’m a hard-working Christian father of four currently going through a divorce, and I’m looking for a home with enough space for my children at a rent I can realistically afford.
I have hands-on experience rehabbing homes and have personally flipped two houses, so I’m comfortable taking on renovations, repairs, painting, flooring, clean-up, and general improvements. I’m not looking for someone to simply hand me a cheap rental — I’m looking for an opportunity where I can put my skills and hard work into a property while creating a home for my kids.
HERE’S MY PROPOSAL:
If you have a vacant property that needs work before it can be rented, I would be willing to complete agreed-upon renovations and improvements in exchange for discounted rent while the work is being completed.
We would agree upfront on:
• What work needs to be completed
• Which materials each of us is responsible for
• A fair discounted rental amount during the renovation period
• A timeline for completing the work
• The regular rental rate once the agreed-upon work is finished
Once the renovations are completed, rent can increase to your normal requested market rate, giving you a renovated, rent-ready property and a reliable tenant.
I’m looking for a win-win situation — you get a property improved and prepared for rental, and I get the opportunity to provide a better home for my children at a price I can afford while I put my skills to work.
I take pride in my work, I’m dependable, and I understand that your property is an investment. I would treat it with the same respect I would treat my own home.
Most importantly, I’m simply praying that God puts the right property owner in my path and that this can become a blessing for both of us.
If you have a vacant house that has been sitting because it needs repairs or updating, please reach out. I’d be happy to come take a look, discuss what you have in mind, and see if we can work out an arrangement that makes sense for both of us.
Serious inquiries only. I’m looking for the right opportunity and the right property owner.
