Did the Bug and Hawk Fires occurring between August 8 and September 9, 2026, impact your home or business? The SBA has officially declared a disaster for Washoe County and several additional counties throughout the state, making low-interest federal loans available for your recovery. I’m a retired SBA Disaster Recovery Specialist and will provide expert, one-on-one guidance to help you navigate the application process and maximize your eligible funding.
Homeowners & Renters may be eligible for up to $100,000 for personal property losses (cars, furniture, etc.) and up to $500,000 for primary residence repairs.
Business Owners & Nonprofits may be eligible for up to $2 million for physical damage (real estate, inventory, equipment) or Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDL) for working capital.
Important Application Deadlines:
• Physical Damage (real estate, equipment, personal property): November 10, 2026.
• Economic Injury (EIDL-Loss of Income/Working Capital): June 11, 2027.
Interest Rates currently start as low as 3% for homeowners/renters and 4% for businesses, with terms up to 30 years.
