We are seeking motivated, service-oriented individuals interested in working independently within the travel industry. Independent Travel Advisors assist clients with researching, planning and booking personalized travel experiences, including cruises, resorts, hotels, vacation packages and group travel.
This is a remote, commission-based independent-contractor opportunity. It is not a salaried or hourly employee position.
Responsibilities
• Consult with clients to understand their travel preferences, dates and budgets
• Research destinations, accommodations, cruises and vacation packages
• Prepare accurate travel proposals and itinerary recommendations
• Coordinate reservations through approved travel-supplier systems
• Communicate important booking details, policies and deadlines
• Provide professional assistance before, during and after travel
• Maintain organized client and reservation records
• Complete required training and remain informed about supplier products
• Follow applicable industry, supplier and consumer-protection requirements
• Independently develop and maintain a client base
Qualifications
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must reside in an eligible U.S. location
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Reliable internet access and a computer or compatible device
• Comfortable learning online booking and communication systems
• Organized, dependable and attentive to detail
• Able to manage time and responsibilities independently
• Customer-service, hospitality, sales or travel experience is helpful but not required

• Initial travel-industry and booking training
• Ongoing supplier education and professional-development opportunities
• Access to approved booking resources and supplier information
• Mentorship and peer support
• Flexible remote schedule
Compensation and Work Classification
This is an independent-contractor position compensated exclusively through commissions on eligible completed travel bookings. There is no base salary, hourly wage or guaranteed minimum income. Commission amounts and payment timing vary by supplier, booking type, travel completion and applicable agreement terms.
