Reliable Handyman Seeking Private Rental / Live-On-Property Op (Chico)

I’m open to something a little outside the typical apartment setup. Maybe you have a guest house, studio, converted garage, small cabin, RV space with hookups, room with a private entrance, or another unused space on your property. I’d also be interested in an arrangement with someone who lives alone or owns a larger property and would appreciate having a capable extra set of hands nearby.
I work during the day, so I’m not looking for a live-in caregiver position, but I’m very handy and genuinely enjoy fixing things and taking care of property. I have years of experience with handyman work, landscaping, ranch/property maintenance, basic construction, repairs, welding, irrigation, tree and brush work, and the hundred little jobs that always seem to come with owning a house or acreage.
I’m independent, pretty quiet at home, respectful of other people’s space and privacy, and I like having my own space as well. I’m perfectly happy living somewhere simple — I care much more about having a comfortable, stable place to call home than having a fancy apartment.
I’m primarily looking for a normal rental arrangement, but if you have a property where occasional help could be useful, I’d be happy to discuss some combination of rent and agreed-upon property work. I’d want everything to be clear and mutually agreed upon so both of us know what to expect.
I’m currently working in the Chico area and would like to stay reasonably close to town.
