Vintage Dietz 510 Driving Light - Made in USA - Antique Auto / Rat Rod Parts
Description:
Selling an authentic, original vintage 1930’s to 1950’s Dietz 510 Automotive Driving Light. This is a genuine period-correct piece manufactured by the R.E. Dietz Company in New York (stamped "Made in U.S.A."), not a modern reproduction.
Perfect for a rat rod build, vintage tractor restoration, or unique industrial upcycling/decor project.
Lens: Beautifully preserved fluted glass lens with "DRIVING" molded directly into the bottom. No cracks or major chips in the glass.
Housing: Original chrome-plated bucket shell with an aged patina.
Condition Notes: The housing shows structural wear consistent with its age, including a distinct tear/opening on the back of the metal casing (see photos). The wiring is vintage and the unit is sold untested / for parts or restoration.
