This is a full function Table Saw, Wood Lathe, Disc Sander, Horizontal Borer, and Vertical Drill Press with a single powerful variable speed motor to drive any of its functions.
In addition, it comes with a Planer and a Bandsaw, either of which can be installed in place of the table extension on the left, and driven by the same motor. They come with small stands to mount them upright on a table or workbench when not attached.
Comes with manuals for everything.
I also have a Shopsmith Power Station with a 6" Belt Sander (add $800 to the price), and a Shopsmith Vacuum System (add $200 to the price). Vacuum connects to either the Table Saw or the Belt Sander These each have their own fixed-speed motors. I will not sell these separately. Total price with the Vacuum System = $2200. Total price with the Vacuum and Belt Sander = $3000.
Also comes with many attachments: including fine and standard 10" saw blades (sharp as new), 12" sander and grinder discs, wire wheels, DADO blade, 1/2" Drill Chuck, Lathe heads of various types, Lathe support arms and spindle head, Craftsman Lathe Tool Set (old, but still sharp), Pistol-grip Miter Gage Hold-down Pusher, Table Fence, 45° fence, etc. The attachments are all included with the sale of the Shopsmith, except the Vacuum related stuff (hoses, nozzles, etc) only goes if you buy the Vacuum as well. NOTE 12/18/25 - the Lathe speed reducer assembly pictured has been sold, and is no longer included in this offering. Price has been reduced accordingly.
I've tried to include all the stuff in various pictures, but note: some of the stuff in the background - like my orange painted drill press - is NOT Shopsmith and does not come with this set.
For pickup at my house only. This is too heavy and too difficult to package, so I will not ship it. I think it will all barely fit in a six foot pickup, if carefully packed.
