Do you like to build things and enjoy the satisfaction of seeing them before your eyes?
Well, step right up and hear out my employment opportunity- and entertain this less rigidly structured employment ad.
Who we are and what we do:
Musarro Trailers is a small custom horse trailer manufacturer based in Ravenna, OH. We build high end aluminum horse trailers on a smaller scale, so we are able to make them more customized for our customer base. This means we do not often repeat projects the exact same way but use the same materials and ideas throughout the trailers. At times we do some repairs on outside trailers as well. Being a small company, we have a bit more of a relaxed feel in the workplace while getting our orders completed. We have fun tools like a CNC router table, a CNC upcut saw, a brake, and a shear. We make most parts in house that when we assemble, the parts snap together like Legos to build really nice, sleek looking commercial grade horse trailers. We do 40-hour weeks, day shift only, and overtime as needed. I’m not going to lie- this job is physical work, but we do quite a bit to make it as easy and efficient as it can be.
We are in need of an individual who ideally:
- Enjoys working with their hands in a productive atmosphere
-Gets satisfaction from building things and seeing them come into reality
-Likes the fluctuation of not doing the exact same thing everyday
-Is not bothered by a more physically demanding job with lifting, cutting, moving, crouching, etc. You keep moving all day long.
- Is comfortable with hand and air tool usage in a safe and efficient manner. This includes drills, grinders, impacts, rivet guns, Huck guns, routers, circular saws, and other common tools.
- Can read a tape measure well
- Has a strong attention to detail, including when things do not seem correct
-Has a proactive approach to problem solving
-Can work alone or in a team efficiently
- Willingness to learn and be engaged
-A good sense of humor is great
We work hard but build a great product in a small business atmosphere. We are happy to teach those who want to learn and do more!
