Maintenance Manager
Located in Randolph, Vermont, New England Precision is a precision metal stamping company specializing in brass and copper stampings. We are currently seeking a full-time Maintenance Manager to join our team overseeing and performing maintenance activities throughout our production facility. This is a working supervisory position.
Position: Maintenance Manager (Working Supervisor)
Shift: 1st Shift
Pay: Competitive wages at or above industry standard & based on experience
RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership & Management
• Lead daily maintenance activities while remaining actively involved in repairs and troubleshooting.
• Schedule and prioritize maintenance work to support production requirements.
• Develop, implement and enhance the plant’s preventive maintenance program/schedules.
• Coordinate outside contractors and service providers when necessary.
• Maintain maintenance records, work orders, and equipment documentation.
• Effective management of all maintenance inventory.
• Identify and research capital equipment needs and schedule.
• Lead, train, mentor and cultivate maintenance personnel.
• Supervise and ensure the quality of work by maintenance personnel.
• Enforce compliance with company policies and workplace procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards, including pollution control, health department regulations and OSHA mandates.
Equipment Maintenance & Repair
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain metal stamping presses and production equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and facility systems.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and production emergencies.
• Install, modify, and improve manufacturing equipment as needed.
Facility Maintenance
• Oversee maintenance of building systems, including HVAC, air compressors, lighting, electrical systems, and facility infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and improve productivity.
QUALIFICATIONS
• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven management and leadership experience.
• Proficiency in computer usage
• Proficient troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in milling and lathe operations.
• Familiarity with metal stamping presses and related equipment is beneficial.
