8 year old grade paint mare - $3,500 (Randle Washington)

Vanilla is a grade paint mare she's about 8 years old. I bought her in March as a project horse to turn her into a barrel horse, but we just don't click. She can be sweet when she wants to be, but she's very marish. As far as I know, she's never had any foals. She has had a lot of owners over the last couple of years, and one of them was abusive towards her so she can be scared.
I've put about 20-25 rides on her at her old home she got about 10 rides. I've never rode her in a bit, but she has used one. She is extremely green so she needs an experienced person with a lot of time for her. She has reared with me on her twice and bucked one of those times, but other than that, she's done fine.
She can be a pain to catch, especially in a bigger field. She is very food motivated but not the biggest fan of grain. She can be food aggressive depending on the horse and her mood.
She's about 14.2 hands tall, so not the tallest girl. I spent about 2 months desensitizing her, but she's still jumpy around new things and fast motions. She has the speed and potential to go in any direction I feel she would to best in a Western discipline.
I'm selling her as a project horse. I am asking $3,100 but open to offers.
