Just use a hose to spray off any mineral deposits on the cage mesh and anode every 2-3 weeks. For tougher deposits, use the included steel brush to loosen deposits or soak the anode cage in a vinegar solution.

Note: Box does *not* contain copper test strips as shown on box cover.
Tips: Buy copper test strips from the pool supply store and test once per week to make sure copper ions stay in the recommended range (0.3 ppm). Keep the box and molded syrofoam packing to safely store the unit during the off-season.
