The farm sits on 12 acres located centrally between Durham and Raleigh, about 12 minutes due north of RDU airport in Durham County. Downtown Durham is 20 Minutes away and downtown Raleigh is 30 minutes away. Falls Lake State Recreation area is less than 10 minutes away.
The tiny house is approximately 250 square feet, plus another 100 square foot screened in porch. The space is partially furnished but can be cleared out completely.
It includes a two-burner propane stove, a small convection oven, a lofted bed, an on-demand electric water heater, a mini fridge (plus additional fridge storage in the two full size fridges in the shop). It has a composting toilet from the company Sun Mar and a shower. There is plenty of garden space if the tenant is interested in tending some of their own beds. Frontier fiber internet extends to the cottage using an Eero network extender.
Rent is $700/month, plus $200 for utilities (electricity, internet, water, garbage and recycling, garden space).
